first phase

MediaFranca service is embodied in a mobile device, similar to a cameraphone. This initial rendering shows that the device has a touchscreen almost completely covering one side and a camera on the other. The screen can render different interfaces, from a regular cellphone with a numeric pad to a keyboard or just the image being captured by the camera at the other side.

This mobile device allows the user to browse for situated media embedded in the objects and places around him. By the act of framing a picture with his camera, the user can access overlayed metadata.
